The movie was all right. But the graphic novel is 100 times better. I highly recommend it, and I’m sure you’ll find plenty of interesting Fortean clues in there

The novel doesn’t delve too much on Mothman, though (a minor background character at best); but it gives you the impression that he was the loner of the group —the original Minutemen costumed vigilantes.

Maybe Moore intended to use it as a symbol of the dangers to seek enlightenment, you know? the moth that gets too close to the candle light…

i am aWohali the man “featured” in Monsterquests “mothman” episode this year…. and I am rather miffed…..for the creature my son and I saw was NOT mothman…nor did it even resemble it !@ Linda Godfrey featured this story…..TRUE!! STORY!! of what happened to my son and Fortean Times in England featured it. The ONLY reason I have come forward about this is to make other people AWARE of what is REALLY out there and sometimes we “bump” into them! I thought the episode sucked!…….Was put together basied on the fact this was a physical creature! LMAO….where do they get off hiring skeptics that probably voted for george bush! I am flabbergasted…I have speny my life in these woods and river valleys I have seen lots of crazy things but NMEVER like this! Rich

There was a Black Angel statue in an Oakland Cemetery right by where I grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota. A lot of crazy stories and rumors swirled around it and eventually the cemetery took it out because of all the madness…..crazy there is one in Iowa in the same cemetery.

Don’t ask me why, but that dream really got stuck in my head, and the cartoon is a pretty accurate “freeze frame” of that one moment in the dream.
