L.O.W.F.I. is a the brain-dream of esoteric writer and go-getter Skylaire Alfvgren. Skylaire’s blog of Fortean writers includes Lesley (Debris Field, Beyond the Dial,) Adam Gorightly (Untamed Dimensions), Andrew Colvin of Mothman Photographer’s II and III, and myself, among others. Paratopia
The fifth episode of Paratopia is now available. Hosts Jeremy Vaeni and Jeff Ritzmann interview me here. I spent an hour or more babbling, fresh home from a long day at work, and right to the phone. That’s my excuse, and I’m sticking to it.
Elusive Mothman
I recently posted about a co-worker who asked me about Mothman. He isn’t a computer guy and wasn’t too interested in looking up Mothman on-line, but was interested in what I could tell him. I told him about the Gere movie and he was interested. He puts the DVD on reserve in the library, waits for a few days, gives me daily updates on its availbility. Finally the DVD is in, he brings it home, all set to watch it. Inserts the DVD, to find. . . it doesn’t play. Won’t show anything but static and weirdness. From the looks of the DVD my co-worker said it seemed like someone spilled something on it, or almost intentionally damaged it. Anyway, the DVD was unwatchable. Seems Mothy eludes yet another day!
