Latest Mothy News From Andrew Colvin
Greetings, Earth Energy-lings!
It’s been a long, hot week of summer here in Seattle. The massive, 650-page Mothman’s Photographer III book is about to go the designer in just a few days. My second book, The Mothman’s Photographer II, continues to build momentum as more researchers in the parapolitical field discover its mind-melting joys. We’ve gotten positive nods from a variety of respected paranormal names, such as Adam Gorightly, Eugenia Macer-Story and Regan Lee. And that ever-present force, Nick Redfern, who has written a slew of great books on everything from conspiracy to UFOs to cryptozoology, has written an excellent review on what is probably the best UFO blog on the planet, “UFO Mystic” (thanks Nick!):

In other news, I am pleased to have been chosen for a discussion panel regarding “Prophecy and Conspiracy” with the No. 1 paranormal author of all time, Brad Steiger! Brad is the hardest working man in the field, having written countless books covering the entire range of Fortean and paranormal phenomena. He is a legend, and this is a great opportunity to bring the full Mothman story to the public. Join us on July 28th at 5 p.m, Pacific Standard Time.

Also, my series on Grassy Knoll continues with episode #32. Go here to find out just how amazingly weird the media coverage was in April, and to receive a few other tidbits of evolving Mothman lore. By the way, GK host “Vyz” is a breath of fresh air, and quite possibly a national treasure – although he might question the meaning of “national” since the Constitution has virtually been destroyed:

There’s also a possible TV deal or two in the works, but I don’t want to spoil anything so…
Keep your eyes to the sky!

Nick Redfern: There’s Something in the Woods
![]()
Nick Redfern has a bit of “shamless self promotion” on his blog There’s Something in the Woods about his new book by the same name. The book focuses on Thunderbirds. I like what Nick says in his post about witnesses in the Nevada desert, who, wile on peyote, saw giant flying things:
Some might say “hallucination.” Me? I prefer to think it’s all about opening gateways to other realms…
Of course you can see things that “aren’t there” under those conditions, but, as shamans and indigenous peoples, etc. know very well, the point of taking these “drugs” in the first place is to open those gateways . . .
There’s a lot out there about “aliens,” beings from other dimensions, and encounters with them while in this state by authors such as Terrence McKenna, etc. Anyway…
Looking forward to reading Nick’s book. My only complaint about Redfern is that he has too many books out! I can’t get to them fast enough.
